Many thanks to Clermont County Sheriff Steve Leahy and his staff for planning a night to remember for families on August 3.
Clermont DD was honored to participate in the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office National Night Out at Batavia Township Community Park. We handed out school supplies and information about agency services to over 350 families. Most importantly, the Turn Up Clermont self advocacy team worked our booth! They explained why we have a disaster trailer (for when we help in county disasters such as floods, tornados, and other emergencies) and assisted families to learn about Clermont DD services in general.
It’s nights like this that make us proud to be part of the Clermont County Community!
