CCDD Plans Focus Groups

The Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities will hold a Focus Group on Thursday, January 18, to ask for public input to assist with developing a three-year strategic plan.  The meeting will be held from 4-5 p.m. at the Thomas A. Wildey Center, 2040 US Highway 50, Batavia.

Focus groups have been held the past few weeks in sessions that include parents, providers, families, and individuals who receive services from CCDD.  These sessions have included a CCDD overview as well as survey questions about building self-advocacy, supported decision making, integrating settings, community employment, and building provider capacity.

After the public focus group is held on January 18, information will be gathered and added into a strategic plan document that will cover 2018, 2019, and 2020.  The input will be compiled into goals and action steps where CCDD departments and the agency itself can improve upon the services they currently provide to children and adults in Clermont County.
